Facilities
There is one large main swimming pool located at the front of the resort on the south side of the island facing the lagoon. The pool is surrounded by a large wooden decked area.Sun loungers are provided but there are no sun umbrellas, however, palm trees provide some shade. If you want a sun lounger then you must get up early, however, there are plenty of deserted areas on the beach where you can sunbathe.There is a small children’s pool and a Jacuzzi. Gym The gym is basic but it works. It is air conditioned and has two running machines, three exercise bicycles, and a weights machine and free weights. There is also an aerobics room with daily classes.The gym has its own health bar serving smoothies and fruit – apples and oranges. Library and TV Room There is one. That’s all you need to know. Anyone who travels all that way to watch television needs shooting although if you run out of reading material it is useful – for five minutes. Shops The resort has four shops: a general store; a jewellers’ shop; a photographic shop and a diving shop. The main shop sells everything including tea bags, coffee, peanuts, chocolate, biscuits, t-shirts, books, souvenirs, sun glasses etc.The jewellers’ sells local Maldivian jewellery. The photographic shop sells film and disposable underwater cameras and can develop film and download digital images onto CD.The diving shop sells a limited range of diving equipment, t-shirts and clothing. Spa There is a spa that provides a wide range of relaxing and beautifying treatments. Bars There are four main bars: The Babuna, Akiri, Sangu and Pool Bar.The Babuna is the main centre of activity in the evening with different themed nights daily. Entertainment includes live music, quizzes, dive night, crab racing, 60s and 70s music and so on. The Pool bar specialises in cocktails and the Akiri bar is usually a quiet relaxing bar. All the bars are open all day until 1.30am. Laundry and House Keeping There is a laundry service. All the rooms are cleaned every day. Beach towels are provided. Golf
The Golf Club boasts a full size driving range with the option of a shaded area and also hitting from the grass. A large putting green is also available to perfect the short game. The golf course is a 6-hole Par 3 course with the average length of a hole being 55 yards. With some great characteristics on the golf course it proves to be a fun and ”sometimes” a challenging experience. The Kuredu Golf Club is a perfect setting not only to begin golf but a basic understanding of the game is necessary. The Golf Club also provides a bar where you can simply relax with a cool drink or catch up on the latest news and from around the world. The Head Pro, PGA qualified golf professional is available for tuition on all aspects of the game. All equipment is provided for rental free of charge from the Pro´s Shop, where all bookings can be made. Any teaching course can be set up to suit the individual or group. Open all day every day from 08.00 a.m.
