Restaurants
If you are the unsociable sort or just want to give all your attention to your partner in the evening then our advice is to ask Guest Relations for your own table. This usually works. Good food is subjective but most people will find the all-inclusive food acceptable most of the time. The cuisine is varied although if you are there for two weeks you will start to recognise a pattern. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style with some dishes being prepared fresh whilst you wait. Lamb, beef, chicken and fish are regulars with plenty of rice, vegetables, bread and a good choice of deserts. If you are a vegan or vegetarian you will survive…just. The a-la-carte restaurants include American, Oriental and Italian cuisine. They are not expensive by western standards and have a good choice of wines starting at around $25. A meal for two with wine will cost around $100. (All-inclusive guests receive a 20% discount off this price. There is usually no need to book even at the weekend. The a-la-carte restaurants are open until much later in the evening.

If you are going all-inclusive then you are in for a big surprise when
it comes to eating in the two main restaurants: Bonthi and Coamas. You
will be allocated the same table for the entire stay and asked to share
it with complete strangers unless there are three or more of you.
Despite their size the restaurants do not have the capacity for every
party to eat alone.
