What's Included
In our opinion the most economic way to visit Kuredu is on an “All-Inclusive” package however there are Bed and Breakfast and Half Board packages available to choose from as-well. If you are thinking of an all-inclusive holiday to Kuredu then be prepared to purchase some extras. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included at set times. You will have to pay for snacks between meals. The water from the tap is not suitable for drinking and so you will inevitably have to buy water. Water served by the glass is free but is chargeable by the bottle. If there is a logic to this I do not know what it is? The same is also true of other soft drinks such as Coke and Sprite. With a humidity of 80% you will drink a lot! Your room comes with tea and coffee making facilities and couple of packs of tea and coffee. Once you have drunk that you will need to buy more from the shop. Everything in the minibar is chargeable and very expensive so watch out for those drunken evenings when you might fancy a Bounty. It will be the most expensive Bounty you will ever buy. Beer, house red and house white wine, cider, fruit juice and most spirits are included. Cocktails are not although they are not overpriced either at around $8.25 each. Individual cocktails are frequently reduced to $5. Snacks, fruit and smoothies from any of the bars are an additional cost. All diving, snorkelling and water sports are chargeable apart from canoeing and windsurfing which are free. All excursions come at a cost apart from the Sunset Cruise which is a one hour cruise at 6.30pm taking a circular route at the front of the island. The a-la-carte restaurants cost extra but “All-Inclusive” guests receive a 20% discount. Spa treatments are all chargeable. All-inclusive guests have to wear a yellow wrist band for the duration of their stay as an easy reference for bar and restaurant staff. There is a second “All Inclusive” option that includes a daily minibar refill, cocktails, one dinner each week in Franco’s Restaurant, one spa treatment each week, daily afternoon tea with snacks, tennis and a weekly round of golf. Bed and breakfast and half board packages are also available. |
